Luis Huerta Hernandez is a dedicated researcher in the field of thermoelectrics, currently making significant contributions to Omegalab's research endeavors. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Nanotechnology and Molecular Engineering from the Universidad de las Americas, Mexico, Luis embarked on his academic journey in 2015. In 2016, he served as a Research Intern at INEEL in Cuernavaca, Mexico, followed by another Research Internship at KAUST in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia in 2017.
In his professional journey, Luis held the position of Chief Technology Officer at City Lungs in Sonora, Mexico, from 2016 to 2018. Subsequently, he worked as a Technology Researcher at Guevara Intelectual Property in Sonora, Mexico, from 2018 to 2019.
Currently pursuing a Ph.D., Luis focuses his doctoral research on perovskites, delving into the intricacies of ionic and electronic transport and their impact on the stability of perovskite solar cells. His work is poised to make a significant contribution to the development of resilient and efficient photovoltaics, thereby advancing sustainable energy generation.
